Hi Everyone!I had a great day today. It was really my birthday, and now I'm three! I started out with pool class in the morning (here's me in my birthday crown and a new, chic swimsuit from Aunt Tracey/Uncle Mark). Friends Summer, Bryant and I are taking survival swimming where we learn to swim/float in case we ever fall into a body of water. Scary stuff and hard work, but here in Florida you have to swim early 'cause of all the pools and water around. So today, after all the hard work, Miss Leah threw us a pizza party for my birthday! Then we watched "Dumbo", and I "borrowed" Miss Leah's new shoes to walk around the house in.

My Day Continues...
Later today, Mommy and Daddy took me out to dinner and ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa Lee, Miss Estelle, and Summer. The folks at Coldstone Creamery sang "Happy Birthday" to me while I got my "Singing Blue Ice Cream". (Singing = they always sing when you buy ice cream there, Blue ice cream = cotton candy flavored ice cream.) Then we came home and opened more presents! Thanks Lia, for my great Hi Ho Cherry-O game!
Daddy calls it "Cheerio", but I know better, silly Daddy. We're eating lots of cherries right now from the store, so how funny is that? :) We'll be sure to play Hi Ho Cherry-O on Friday night, 'cause it's our new family game night!Thanks also to Grami Frani, Grandma and Papa Lee, Uncle Dave and Aunt Beata for great gifts! Although, Daddy set up the constellation turtle (that projects stars on the ceiling) for me tonight, and Mommy came in to check on me, gazed up at the stars, got her foot caught inside my toy Phonics bus and started the letter "P" song as she fell over with a crash! I didn't even hear the letter "P" song 'cause I was fast asleep! (Mommy's ok.)

Milestones
- Speech therapy has officially ended. I'm now a chatterbox, thanks to Miss Cindy (my speech therapist) and a lot of encouragement from friends and family. I'm doing great, but don't understand why Mommy and Daddy now spell out words instead of say them in front of me. Hmmm...
- I'm starting to recognize written words. I understand that when Mommy points to words on a page, that she's reading them. We read about 5 books a night, and my favorite movies are "Jungle Book", "Aristocats", and "Lady and the Tramp". I watch the Wiggles tv show in the morning, listen to Wiggles in the car, and go to sleep listening to the Wiggles "Lullaby" CD. Mommy had to buy another one 'cause I wore the first one out! Lucky me, the Wiggles have a new DVD out.
- My love of purple continues on. And thanks to Miss Natalie and Ashley, I love princesses, so I dress like one...ALL THE TIME!! I especially like to change dresses 3-4 times a day. I've taken charge of Mommy's old jewelry, and wear her necklaces and old clip-on earrings. When I admire myself in the mirror, I say, "Mommy, Emmy so, sooo pitty!"
- I train Mia, my dog. She sits for me to get her doggie ice cream, and gives me her paw. Nigel the cat jumps off the counters when I tell him to. I help Mommy empty the dishwasher, do the laundry, and I help clean the dinner table off. I even feed the animals every day. I'm such a big girl!
- I like to sing! I sing Wiggles songs, "Twinkle Twinkle", "Happy Birthday", "I'm a Little Teapot", and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands".
- I had my 3rd year wellness check with the pediatrician. I'm 33.5" tall and weight 26 pounds! Doc Witte says I'm in the 15% for height and 5% for weight compared to American-born kids. And she said it's ok to be a skinny kid!
