9AM UPDATE
Sorry, since it's snowing in Beijing, there the traffic has hit a major slowdown. Our poor guide, "Super Helen", as she's called, had to run 30 minutes in the snow to reach our hotel. Our driver is stuck in traffic but on his way. So, we'll be later getting to David. Stay tuned. Cindy B., your comment was too ironic! :)
If David is napping when we arrive, we'll just wait for him to wake up. Stay tuned.

Hi all,
It's 7am here in China. We just had breakfast amidst Swedish, Chinese American, and Chinese families...too cool. We're now packing to leave for the orphanage while watching Chinese soap opera on tv. It's snowing outide!!
We leave at 9am for the 2-hour ride to the orphanage. We have our own driver, which is great. Between 11am and 12 noon we should arrive at the orphanage to meet Qun Qun! We can't wait. We'll also meet Robert today--he's the American teacher in Tianjin who volunteers at the orphanage. We'll post later today after all the emotions settle down.
